Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architectural design development from concept to construction documentation
- Collaborate with interior designers, engineers, and clients to deliver cohesive design solutions
- Develop detailed technical drawings, 3D renderings, and material specifications
- Ensure compliance with NYC building codes, zoning laws, and accessibility standards
- Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders with compelling visual narratives
- Mentor junior designers and foster innovation through studio workshops
- Integrate sustainable materials and energy-efficient systems into all projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of professional experience in high-end architectural design
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse project types and innovative solutions
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
- New York State Architectural License (RA) required
- Exceptional spatial reasoning and conceptual visualization skills
