Responsibilities
- Lead design development and documentation for commercial and mixed-use projects
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structural, MEP, landscape)
- Conduct client presentations and manage project milestones
- Mentor junior designers through design reviews and skill-building
- Research and implement sustainable design strategies and materials
- Develop detailed construction documents and specifications
- Participate in BIM coordination and model management
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive design experience in commercial architecture
- LEED AP BD+C certification strongly preferred
- Expert proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven portfolio of award-winning built projects
- Illinois architectural license (or ability to obtain reciprocity)
- Strong knowledge of Chicago building codes and zoning ordinances
- Experience leading design charrettes and client workshops
