Responsibilities
- Design Leadership: Lead the conceptual design and schematic design phases for high-profile commercial and residential projects.
- Project Management: Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and profitable delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with structural, MEP, and interior design consultants to integrate complex systems into the architectural vision.
- Technical Execution: Produce high-level construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.
- Client Relations: Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating the architectural narrative.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior architects and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and design excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) required.
- Licensure: Registered Architect (AIA) or eligible for licensure in New York State.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in architectural design, preferably in a commercial firm.
- Software: Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
- Certification: LEED AP or WELL AP certification is a plus.
