Responsibilities
- Lead Design: Spearhead the design and development of complex architectural projects, ensuring creative vision is realized.
- Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, translating business goals into architectural solutions.
- Technical Oversight: Oversee the production of high-quality construction documentation, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Collaboration: Coordinate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams, including structural engineers, MEP consultants, and interior designers.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs strictly adhere to UK building regulations, zoning laws, and sustainability standards (e.g., BREEAM/LEED).
- Project Leadership: Mentor junior staff and junior architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence and creative freedom.
Qualifications
- Education: RIBA Part 3 qualification (or equivalent) and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in an architectural practice.
- Software Proficiency: Expert level in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of BIM workflows and sustainable design principles.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas to stakeholders.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading project teams and managing client relationships.
