Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Senior Architect to join our award-winning team in the heart of London. At Apex Design Group, we are dedicated to redefining urban living through sustainable, innovative, and aesthetically superior architecture.
In this pivotal role, you will lead high-profile projects from initial concept through to construction administration, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers.
Responsibilities
- Lead Design & Concept: Direct the architectural vision for complex residential and commercial developments, ensuring creative excellence and technical precision.
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting design proposals and incorporating feedback to refine project outcomes.
- Technical Documentation: Produce high-quality working drawings, specifications, and construction documents using industry-standard software (Revit, AutoCAD).
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs strictly adhere to UK Building Regulations, planning laws, and sustainability standards (BREEAM).
- Project Coordination: Oversee project timelines, manage budgets, and coordinate with structural, MEP, and cost consultants.
- Team Mentorship: Guide junior architects and interns, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications
- Education: Fully accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (RIBA Part 1 & 2) and Part 3 qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience within a UK-based architectural practice.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop).
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the UK Planning Application process and Building Control regulations.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating a proven track record of innovative design and technical problem-solving.
