Responsibilities
- Design Leadership: Lead the conceptualization, schematic design, and detailed design phases for residential and commercial projects from inception to completion.
- Client Liaison: Present design concepts and technical proposals to clients, managing expectations and incorporating feedback to ensure client satisfaction.
- Technical Documentation: Produce high-quality architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino.
- Coordination: Collaborate effectively with engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve design issues and ensure buildability on-site.
- Project Management: Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring deliverables are met without compromising on design integrity.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards (e.g., BCA Green Mark).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of professional experience in architectural or interior design, preferably in the Singapore or Southeast Asian market.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Revit (required), AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Rhino.
- Portfolio: A strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating a range of design styles and technical capabilities.
- Registration: Registered Architect (Singapore Board of Architects) or equivalent professional certification.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
