Responsibilities
- Lead Design Execution: Oversee the architectural and interior design process from initial concept and schematic design through to construction documentation and final delivery.
- Client Collaboration: Conduct site visits, lead design presentations, and communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and functional requirements.
- Technical Mastery: Prepare high-quality drawings, 3D renderings, and specifications using industry-standard software (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp).
- Project Management: Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to local, state, and federal building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior designers and interns, fostering a culture of creativity and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in residential or commercial architecture.
- Software Proficiency: Expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- Portfolio: A strong, professional portfolio demonstrating advanced design skills and technical ability.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot design challenges and find innovative solutions.
