Responsibilities
- Design Leadership: Lead the conceptualization, schematic design, and design development phases for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
- Technical Execution: Develop detailed construction drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations (BCA).
- Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting design concepts, conducting site visits, and managing client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordination: Collaborate effectively with MEP consultants, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of design intent and construction realities.
- 3D Visualization: Create high-quality 3D renders and visual presentations using SketchUp, Lumion, or Enscape to effectively communicate design ideas to clients.
- Site Supervision: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve on-site technical issues, and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Documentation: Manage the preparation and review of tender documents and contract administration.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of post-graduate experience in a reputable architecture or interior design firm.
- Licensure: Registered Architect (APEX/ARB) or Interior Designer (IIDA) license is highly preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and 3D rendering software.
- Portfolio: A strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating previous work in both architecture and interior design is mandatory.
- Language: Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required; Mandarin is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional project management skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
