Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end architectural and interior design process, from initial concept sketches to final construction documentation.
- Develop innovative design solutions that meet client needs while adhering to local building codes and zoning regulations.
- Conduct site visits and feasibility studies to ensure project viability.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and artisans to ensure high-quality execution.
- Prepare detailed drawings, 3D models, and renderings using industry-standard software (Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD).
- Mentor junior staff and conduct design reviews to maintain high standards of quality.
Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in architectural and interior design, preferably in New York City.
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, ArchiCAD) and visualization tools (SketchUp, Lumion, V-Ray).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a mix of residential, commercial, and interior design projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of local building codes, zoning laws, and sustainability standards.
