Responsibilities
- Lead Design Execution: Oversee architectural projects from the initial concept phase through to construction documentation and final site delivery.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior architects and design staff, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Create high-quality technical drawings, 3D models, and renderings using industry-standard software (Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino).
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs strictly adhere to local building codes, zoning laws, and sustainability standards (LEED).
- Client Collaboration: Present design concepts and progress reports to clients and stakeholders to ensure project vision alignment.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (M.Arch).
- Licensure: Registered Architect (AIA) or eligible for licensure in New York State.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in architectural design and project management.
- Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical ideas into accessible design narratives.
