As a Senior Architect, you will bridge the gap between creative vision and technical execution, working closely with clients, engineers, and project managers to deliver award-winning designs.
Responsibilities
- Lead Design Execution: Manage the architectural design process from concept development and schematic design through to construction documentation and administration.
- BIM Management: Oversee BIM workflows, ensuring compliance with industry standards (like LOD 300/400) and optimizing model coordination.
- Client Collaboration: Present design concepts and technical proposals to clients and stakeholders, effectively translating complex ideas into visual narratives.
- Technical Leadership: Review structural and MEP drawings for design integrity, constructability, and code compliance.
- Team Mentorship: Guide junior architects and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Sustainability: Integrate LEED and WELL building principles into design strategies to ensure environmental responsibility.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Must hold a valid Professional Architecture License (AIA) or equivalent certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in architecture, with a strong portfolio demonstrating complex project delivery.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino/Grasshopper, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead effective client meetings.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading project teams and managing subcontractors.
