Responsibilities
- Lead design development from concept through construction documentation for mixed-use and high-rise projects
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including structural engineers, MEP consultants, and landscape architects
- Ensure compliance with NYC Building Code, ADA standards, and LEED certification requirements
- Manage client relationships and project timelines through all design phases
- Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and technical research
- Mentor junior architects and interns through design reviews and professional development
- Develop innovative sustainable design solutions and building envelope systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 10+ years of progressive experience in high-rise/mixed-use architecture
- Registered Architect (NY State license required)
- Expert proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Enscape rendering
- Proven portfolio demonstrating award-winning complex projects
- Strong knowledge of NYC zoning regulations and construction methods
- LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
- Exceptional presentation skills and client management experience
