Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process from initial concepts and schematic designs through construction documentation and administration.
- Develop innovative design solutions that balance aesthetic appeal, functionality, and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, interior designers, and consultants to ensure project cohesion.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with contractors and vendors during the construction phase.
- Utilize advanced BIM (Building Information Modeling) software (Revit, AutoCAD) to produce detailed drawings and 3D models.
- Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards (LEED).
Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
- Current AIA licensure (or equivalent state license) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in architectural design and project management.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of architectural styles and technical proficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to clients and stakeholders.
- Experience with LEED certification processes and sustainable design practices is a strong plus.
