Responsibilities
- Lead design development and documentation for mixed-use, institutional, and commercial projects
- Manage project teams through all phases from concept to construction administration
- Conduct client presentations and stakeholder engagement to ensure vision alignment
- Integrate sustainable design principles and BIM technologies into project workflows
- Mentor junior architects and interns through design reviews and technical guidance
- Collaborate with engineering consultants to resolve complex technical challenges
- Stay current with industry trends through research and continuous learning initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in architecture with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Registered Architect license in Illinois or ability to obtain reciprocity
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D visualization tools
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Strong portfolio demonstrating innovative design solutions and technical expertise
- LEED AP or WELL AP certification preferred
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
