Responsibilities
- Lead design development from conceptual sketches through construction documentation
- Manage client relationships and project teams across multidisciplinary workflows
- Integrate sustainable building practices and BIM technologies into all phases
- Coordinate with engineering consultants and regulatory authorities
- Mentor junior architects and conduct design reviews
- Present compelling design narratives to stakeholders and review boards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from accredited institution
- 8+ years progressive experience in commercial/residential architecture
- LEED AP or WELL AP certification required
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Rhino/Grasshopper
- Licensed architect in Illinois (or ability to obtain reciprocity)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex project delivery and design excellence
- Strong understanding of Chicago Zoning and Building Codes
