Responsibilities
- Lead design development for high-profile commercial and cultural projects
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structural, MEP, sustainability)
- Prepare detailed construction documents and specifications
- Manage client relationships and project timelines
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies
- Mentor junior architects and design staff
- Ensure compliance with building codes and sustainability standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from accredited institution
- 10+ years of progressive architectural experience
- LEED AP BD+C certification required
- Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Enscape
- Portfolio demonstrating large-scale urban projects
- Illinois architectural license (or ability to obtain reciprocity)
- Strong knowledge of Chicago zoning ordinances
- Experience with BIM management and construction administration
