Responsibilities
- Lead design development and construction documentation for mixed-use and commercial projects
- Manage client relationships and project budgets from concept to completion
- Mentor junior architects and coordinate with structural/mechanical engineers
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and sustainability standards (LEED/AP)
- Present design proposals to stakeholders and municipal authorities
- Conduct site analysis and resolve complex technical challenges
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial/residential architecture
- Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
- Strong portfolio demonstrating award-winning projects
- Illinois architectural license required
- Experience with large-scale urban developments
