Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architectural project delivery from conceptual design through construction administration
- Develop innovative design solutions balancing aesthetic vision with technical feasibility and client requirements
- Manage project teams and coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, landscape) to ensure cohesive execution
- Prepare detailed construction documents including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Conduct client presentations and stakeholder workshops to articulate design intent and gather feedback
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards
- Mentor junior architects and foster a culture of continuous learning within the design studio
Qualifications
- Professional Architecture degree (BArch/MArch) from accredited institution
- 10+ years progressive experience in commercial/residential architecture with portfolio of built projects
- Licensure as Registered Architect in New York State (or ability to obtain reciprocity)
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and LEED/BREEAM certification processes
- Exceptional spatial reasoning, technical problem-solving, and client communication skills
- Experience leading complex projects with budgets exceeding $10M
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments
