Responsibilities
- Lead design development from concept through construction documentation for complex commercial/residential projects
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (structural, MEP, landscape) ensuring seamless integration
- Manage client relationships and presentations, translating vision into actionable design solutions
- Oversee construction administration including RFI responses, submittal reviews, and site coordination
- Mentor junior architects while maintaining design quality and regulatory compliance
- Research and implement sustainable design strategies achieving LEED/Well certifications
- Develop technical specifications and construction details ensuring material innovation and constructability
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from accredited institution (NCARB required)
- 10+ years progressive experience with high-profile commercial or mixed-use projects
- Expert proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and parametric design tools (Grasshopper)
- Proven portfolio demonstrating award-winning sustainable design execution
- New York State architectural license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Advanced knowledge of NYC Zoning Resolution and building codes
- Experience leading projects exceeding $50M in construction value
- Certification in LEED AP BD+C or WELL AP preferred
