Responsibilities
- Lead design development and documentation for complex commercial and mixed-use projects
- Coordinate MEP, structural, and facade engineering consultants
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and client communications
- Mentor junior architects and interns through design reviews
- Ensure compliance with IBC, ADA, and local building codes
- Develop BIM models using Revit and parametric design tools
- Present design concepts to clients, municipalities, and review boards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from NAAB-accredited institution
- 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial architecture
- LEED AP BD+C certification required
- Expert proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex project delivery
- Illinois architectural license (or ability to obtain reciprocity)
- Proven track record in sustainable design practices
- Experience leading projects through construction administration
