Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architectural project delivery from conceptual design through construction documentation
- Develop innovative design solutions using BIM technologies (Revit, Rhino)
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications throughout project lifecycles
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and ADA requirements
- Mentor junior architects and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies for complex urban developments
- Present design concepts to clients and public review boards
Qualifications
- Professional Architecture License (NCARB certified)
- Master's degree in Architecture from accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive architectural experience
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D rendering software
- Proven portfolio of large-scale commercial or institutional projects
- Strong knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED certification
- Exceptional project management and client presentation skills
- Experience with Chicago zoning ordinances and permitting processes
