Responsibilities
- Lead design development from concept through construction documentation using BIM technology
- Manage client relationships and project timelines for high-profile developments
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and consultants
- Ensure compliance with building codes, sustainability standards (LEED), and accessibility requirements
- Present design concepts to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and presentations
- Mentor junior architects and foster collaborative studio culture
- Contribute to research on innovative materials and construction methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture with 8+ years of professional experience
- Registered Architect license (Illinois) or ability to obtain reciprocity
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D visualization software
- Portfolio demonstrating complex project delivery and design excellence
- Strong understanding of construction detailing and building systems
- Experience with sustainable design principles and energy modeling
- Proven ability to manage projects over $10M in construction value
- Exceptional communication skills for client and public presentations
