Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of architectural projects from concept through to construction documentation and tendering.
- Utilize industry-standard software (Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino) to produce high-quality technical drawings, 3D models, and visualizations.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring project visions are realized within budget, scope, and strict timelines.
- Coordinate effectively with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and interior designers to ensure cohesive project delivery.
- Ensure all designs comply with local building regulations, planning permissions, and sustainability standards (BREEAM/Passivhaus).
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance during the design and documentation phases.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and quality control.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Architect or Architectural Technologist (5+ years of post-qualification experience).
- Registered with the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) or possess equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong proficiency in BIM software, specifically Revit and AutoCAD.
- Excellent understanding of UK building codes, planning regulations, and environmental sustainability frameworks.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating a strong range of residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
