Responsibilities
- Lead design development and documentation for mixed-use and commercial projects
- Coordinate MEP, structural, and façade engineering systems
- Manage client relationships and project timelines from concept to completion
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies for complex urban sites
- Mentor junior architects and ensure BIM/CAD standards compliance
- Present design proposals to stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Integrate sustainable design principles (LEED certification focus)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from NAAB-accredited program
- 10+ years progressive experience in commercial/residential design
- Registered Architect license (Illinois or ability to obtain reciprocity)
- Expert proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven portfolio of built projects in urban environments
- Strong knowledge of IBC, ADA, and Chicago zoning codes
- Experience leading projects over $50M in construction value
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
