Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architectural project delivery from conceptual design through construction administration
- Develop innovative design solutions that integrate sustainability, functionality, and client vision
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation while ensuring compliance with building codes
- Mentor junior architects through design reviews, technical guidance, and professional development
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structural, MEP, landscape) to ensure cohesive project execution
- Present design concepts to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies with compelling visual narratives
- Research and implement emerging technologies including parametric design and BIM optimization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in high-profile architectural projects
- NYS Architect License (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven portfolio demonstrating complex commercial/residential project delivery
- LEED AP BD+C certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with experience in urban infill and adaptive reuse projects
- Strong leadership abilities with experience directing cross-functional teams
