Responsibilities
- Lead design development and construction documentation for complex architectural projects
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (MEP, structural, landscape) through all project phases
- Conduct client presentations and stakeholder workshops to align design vision
- Ensure compliance with building codes, ADA standards, and sustainable design principles
- Mentor junior architects and interns through technical reviews and design critiques
- Develop BIM models using Revit and manage project documentation workflows
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies for new project opportunities
Qualifications
- Professional Architecture license (NCARB) required
- 8+ years progressive experience in commercial/cultural architecture
- Expertise in Revit, Rhino, and Enscape/V-Ray for visualization
- Portfolio demonstrating complex healthcare or institutional projects
- Strong knowledge of IL building codes and construction methodologies
- LEED AP BD+C or WELL AP certification preferred
- Experience leading projects through design to construction administration
- Exceptional presentation skills and client management abilities
