Responsibilities
- Lead design development and documentation for mixed-use and cultural projects
- Coordinate MEP and structural engineering systems integration
- Manage client relationships and project timelines from conception to completion
- mentor junior architects through design critiques and technical guidance
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies for complex urban sites
- Ensure compliance with ADA, IBC, and local zoning regulations
- Develop sustainable design strategies targeting LEED Platinum certification
Qualifications
- Professional Architecture license (Illinois required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial/residential design
- Expert proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Demonstrated portfolio with award-winning built projects
- Strong knowledge of BIM implementation and digital fabrication
- Experience leading teams of 5+ professionals
- LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
