Responsibilities
- Lead design development and construction documentation for mixed-use and institutional projects
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and consultants
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards
- Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders through compelling visualizations
- Mentor junior architects and guide project delivery from concept to completion
- Drive innovation in sustainable design strategies and material applications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial/residential architecture
- Registered Architect license (State of Illinois or ability to obtain reciprocity)
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven track record of managing projects >$50M in construction value
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex building systems integration
- LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
