Responsibilities
- Lead design development and documentation for large-scale commercial and residential projects
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, consultants, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards
- Develop sustainable design strategies using BIM technologies (Revit, ArchiCAD)
- Present design concepts to clients and municipal authorities
- Mentor junior architects and interns through project execution
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies for new developments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in architectural practice
- LEED AP BD+C certification required
- Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex project delivery
- Illinois architectural license (or ability to obtain reciprocity)
- Experience with adaptive reuse and historic preservation projects
- Excellent communication and client management skills
