Responsibilities
- Lead design development and construction documentation for large-scale architectural projects
- Coordinate with engineering consultants and contractors to ensure seamless execution
- Conduct client presentations and manage project timelines/budgets
- Mentor junior architects and guide design reviews
- Research and implement sustainable design practices and emerging technologies
- Ensure compliance with ADA, IBC, and local building codes
- Develop detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and BIM models
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program
- 10+ years of progressive experience in architectural design
- Licensure as a registered Architect (RA) in Illinois
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven track record of managing complex projects from concept to completion
- Strong portfolio showcasing innovative and technically sound designs
- LEED AP or WELL AP certification preferred
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
