Responsibilities
- Lead design development and documentation for mixed-use and commercial projects
- Coordinate MEP, structural, and sustainability consultants during all project phases
- Manage client relationships and presentations to secure project approvals
- Mentor junior architects and interns through design reviews and skill-building workshops
- Ensure compliance with ADA, ICC, and local zoning regulations
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies for new development opportunities
- Develop BIM standards and implement Revit workflows across project teams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial or institutional architecture
- LEED AP BD+C certification strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex project delivery
- Illinois architectural license (or ability to obtain reciprocity)
- Experience leading projects from schematic design through construction administration
- Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders
