Responsibilities
- Lead design development from concept through construction documentation
- Mentor junior architects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with building codes and ADA regulations
- Present design solutions to clients and municipal authorities
- Integrate sustainable materials and energy-efficient systems
- Manage project budgets and construction administration
- Research emerging architectural technologies and trends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from NAAB-accredited program
- 8+ years of progressive architectural experience
- Registered Architect (IL license required)
- Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Portfolio demonstrating complex project delivery
- LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
- Experience with historic preservation and adaptive reuse
- Strong client presentation and negotiation skills
