Responsibilities
- Lead design development and documentation for commercial and mixed-use projects
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structural, MEP, landscape) to ensure seamless execution
- Manage client relationships and project budgets from concept to completion
- Mentor junior architects and conduct design reviews
- Stay current with NYC building codes and sustainability standards (LEED/APR)
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and community boards
- Utilize BIM tools (Revit, Rhino) for 3D modeling and coordination
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial architecture
- Registered Architect license (NY State or ability to obtain reciprocity)
- Portfolio demonstrating award-winning urban design projects
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven track record of managing projects over $50M
- Strong knowledge of NYC Zoning Resolution and building codes
- LEED AP or WELL AP certification preferred
