Responsibilities
- Lead Design Vision: Direct the architectural design process from conceptualization through to completion, ensuring the vision aligns with client objectives and brand standards.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Technical Expertise: Create detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documentation using industry-standard software (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp).
- Client Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, conducting site visits, presentations, and regular status meetings.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, zoning laws, and sustainability guidelines (LEED standards).
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior architects and interns, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of innovation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in commercial or residential architecture.
- Licensure: Registered Architect (RA) license in the state of New York is required.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Rhino.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of solving complex design challenges.
- Sustainability: Familiarity with green building practices and sustainable design principles is highly preferred.
