Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design development from concept through construction documentation
- Manage project teams including junior architects, engineers, and consultants
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards
- Client relationship management and presentation of design solutions
- Coordinate with contractors and oversee construction administration
- Mentor junior staff and conduct design reviews
- Research and implement innovative building technologies and materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 10+ years of progressive architectural experience
- Registered Architect license in New York State
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
- Strong portfolio demonstrating diverse project types and scale
- Experience leading projects in NYC's regulatory environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
