We are currently seeking a visionary Senior Architect to join our award-winning team and lead the conceptualization and execution of high-profile projects ranging from commercial complexes to bespoke residential interiors.
The Role
As a Senior Architect at Lumina Studio, you will bridge the gap between creative vision and technical reality. You will mentor junior staff, manage client relationships, and drive the design process from the initial sketch to the final construction documentation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design process and manage all architectural phases, including concept design, development, and construction administration.
- Oversee the preparation of high-quality construction drawings, specifications, and documentation using industry-standard software.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and design staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative studio environment.
- Collaborate closely with interior designers, engineers, and consultants to ensure cohesive project delivery.
- Present design concepts and project progress to clients and stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
- Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards (e.g., BREEAM).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (RIBA Part 2 qualified).
- Proven track record of at least 5-7 years of experience in architectural practice, with a portfolio showcasing residential or commercial projects.
- Chartered status (RIBA) or eligibility for registration is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit), CAD (AutoCAD), and 3D modeling (SketchUp, Rhino, or FormZ).
- Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex design ideas to non-technical audiences.
