Responsibilities
- Lead design development for mixed-use and commercial projects from concept to construction documentation
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure structural integrity and code compliance
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and client communications
- Mentor junior architects and conduct design reviews
- Research and implement sustainable design strategies including LEED certification
- Present design concepts to clients, municipalities, and stakeholders
- Oversee BIM modeling coordination and documentation standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial architecture
- NYS Architect License required
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Enscape
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale urban projects
- Strong portfolio demonstrating innovative design solutions
- Experience with NYC DOB and Landmarks approval processes
- LEED AP certification preferred
