Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design development for complex commercial and mixed-use projects
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, consultants, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards
- Develop detailed construction documents and specifications
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and client relationships
- Mentor junior architects and design staff
- Drive innovation in sustainable and resilient design practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 10+ years of progressive architectural experience
- NY State Architect License (or ability to obtain reciprocity)
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows
- Proven portfolio of large-scale commercial/residential projects
- LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
- Exceptional design vision and technical documentation skills
- Strong client presentation and stakeholder management abilities
