We seek a Senior Architect to lead complex commercial and mixed-use projects from concept to completion. You'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, mentor junior architects, and drive design excellence in a dynamic, award-winning environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead design development and construction documentation for large-scale projects
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and sustainability consultants
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and client communications
- Mentor junior architects and review technical drawings
- Ensure compliance with building codes and ADA standards
- Develop BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD
- Present design concepts to clients and municipal authorities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 10+ years of progressive architectural experience
- LEED AP or WELL AP certification preferred
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp
- Proven track record of commercial/mixed-use project delivery
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design innovation
- Illinois architectural license required
- Experience with Chicago zoning and permitting processes
