Responsibilities
- Lead design development and documentation for mixed-use and high-rise projects
- Coordinate MEP, structural, and facade engineering systems
- Mentor junior architects and design interns
- Ensure compliance with ADA, IBC, and LEED certification standards
- Conduct client presentations and manage project timelines
- Research emerging materials and sustainable construction methodologies
- Oversee BIM coordination across project phases
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial/residential design
- Registered Architect (Illinois license required)
- Expert proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Enscape
- Portfolio demonstrating complex project delivery
- LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of Chicago zoning ordinances
- Experience leading teams of 5+ professionals
