Responsibilities
- Lead design development and construction documentation for commercial and mixed-use projects
- Coordinate MEP, structural, and facade engineering teams
- Manage client relationships and project timelines
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies
- Revit/BIM modeling coordination and quality control
- Ensure compliance with ADA, IBC, and local zoning codes
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and municipal authorities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from accredited institution
- 10+ years of progressive architectural experience
- LEED AP BD+C certification required
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Enscape
- Portfolio demonstrating complex commercial projects
- Illinois architectural license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Strong knowledge of Chicago building codes and permitting
