Responsibilities
- Lead conceptual design development and construction documentation for mixed-use and commercial projects
- Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality control across all design phases
- Conduct site analysis and code compliance reviews for Chicago zoning requirements
- Mentor junior architects and interns while fostering a culture of continuous innovation
- Present design solutions to clients and stakeholders through compelling visualizations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial/residential architecture
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Rhino with strong BIM management skills
- LEED AP or WELL AP certification strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of Illinois Building Code and ADA compliance
- Proven portfolio of completed projects demonstrating design excellence
- Exceptional communication and client relationship management abilities
