Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel deep learning architectures for NLP and computer vision applications
- Lead research initiatives to advance state-of-the-art in transformer models and generative AI
- Develop scalable ML pipelines for production deployment on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Publish findings in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR) and contribute to open-source projects
- Mentor junior researchers and foster cross-functional collaboration with product teams
- Translate business requirements into technically feasible AI solutions with measurable impact
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed training frameworks
- Proven track record of deploying production ML systems at scale
- Strong publication record in AI/ML research (3+ NeurIPS/ICML papers preferred)
- Deep understanding of attention mechanisms, reinforcement learning, and MLOps
- Experience with model optimization techniques (quantization, pruning, distillation)
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
