Responsibilities
- Design and execute cutting-edge AI research projects aligned with strategic business objectives
- Develop novel deep learning architectures for NLP, computer vision, and multimodal systems
- Lead publication of breakthrough research in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR)
- Mentor junior researchers and establish best practices for reproducible ML experimentation
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate research prototypes into production systems
- Champion ethical AI development through bias mitigation and fairness frameworks
- Secure external research funding through grants and industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier AI conferences and journals
- Expertise in at least one specialized AI domain: NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning
- Mastery of PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed ML frameworks (Horovod, Ray)
- Strong software engineering skills with Python and C++ for production-level implementations
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow)
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex research projects from conception to deployment
