Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel deep learning architectures for computer vision and NLP applications
- Lead research initiatives in generative AI and multimodal systems with 15% R&D time allocation
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate research into production-ready solutions
- Publish findings in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR) and maintain 2+ publications/year
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source AI frameworks
- Develop ethical AI frameworks ensuring fairness and transparency in model deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of applied research experience in production AI systems
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow with 100+ hours of model deployment experience
- Published record in top-tier AI conferences (3+ NeurIPS/ICML papers)
- Proficiency in distributed computing (Spark, Kubernetes) and MLOps tools
- Strong background in reinforcement learning or federated learning
- Experience leading cross-functional AI initiatives with measurable business impact
