Responsibilities
- Lead research initiatives in advanced neural architectures and multimodal AI systems
- Develop and publish breakthrough papers in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR)
- Translate theoretical models into production-ready solutions with 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Mentor junior researchers and foster cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants through NSF and DARPA partnerships
- Architect scalable ML pipelines processing 10TB+ daily data streams
- Drive ethical AI frameworks aligned with EU AI Act and ACM guidelines
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published 20+ peer-reviewed papers in top-tier AI/ML venues
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed computing frameworks (Ray, Horovod)
- Proven track record of deploying production AI systems serving 1M+ users
- Deep knowledge of transformer architectures, diffusion models, and reinforcement learning
- Strong background in MLOps and CI/CD for ML pipelines
