Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel deep learning architectures for large-scale language models
- Lead research initiatives in multimodal AI systems combining vision, language, and audio processing
- Develop production-ready ML pipelines with emphasis on scalability and performance optimization
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of technical excellence
- Collaborate with product teams to translate research into commercial AI solutions
- Author high-impact publications and present findings at top-tier AI conferences
- Stay current with emerging AI trends and evaluate their strategic implications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing production-grade AI systems
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed training frameworks
- Strong publication record in top-tier AI/ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR)
- Proven ability to translate research into scalable commercial applications
- Deep understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Vertex AI)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
