Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel deep learning architectures for computer vision and NLP applications
- Lead research initiatives in transfer learning and reinforcement learning domains
- Publish findings in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR)
- Mentor junior researchers and collaborate with engineering teams for production deployment
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
- Stay current with emerging AI trends through continuous learning and conference participation
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed training
- Proven track record of publishing at NeurIPS/ICML/CVPR or equivalent
- Expertise in at least one specialized AI domain (computer vision, NLP, or reinforcement learning)
- Strong software engineering skills with Python and C++
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and MLOps frameworks
