Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Month-End Close: Manage the end-of-month close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform complex account reconciliations for general ledger accounts and intercompany transactions.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement automation tools to streamline accounting workflows and reduce manual errors.
- Audit Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support for annual audits.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax regulations and internal company policies regarding financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA, CMA, or CA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Leadership: Proven ability to mentor junior staff and lead cross-functional projects.
