Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and perform variance analysis to identify trends.
- Assist in the annual audit process and coordinate closely with external auditors.
- Develop, monitor, and manage departmental budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
- Ensure full compliance with federal and state tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Provide financial analysis and actionable insights to support executive decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred).
- CPA, CMA, or EA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions like PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities and time management.
